What We Do

At ASH, we are dedicated to transforming lives in the Nakasongola district by improving education, health, and sustainability. Our key initiatives include:

  • Promoting Health Education: We deliver gender-inclusive menstrual hygiene awareness programs in schools like Zengebe, Kafu, Bujabe, and Migyera UMEA, reducing stigma, improving attendance, and fostering equality.

  • Fostering Environmental Sustainability: Through our tree planting initiative, we plant 20 trees for every tree cut, enhancing environmental conservation and creating healthier school environments, starting at Mulonzi Primary School and expanding beyond.

on, we are dedicated to finding innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. In the face of conflict, poverty, and climate change, we stand with communities, amplifying their voices and empowering them with the tools they need to build a better future.

Enhancing Learning Environments:

We supply and repair classroom furniture for primary schools. To date, we’ve provided 67 desks and 13 benches to five schools—Mulonzi, Katuba, Buyamba, Kalula, and Kikooba—improving seating for over 268 learners.

Building Community Resilience:

We engage local communities in furniture production and provide carpentry training to individuals, including persons with disabilities and school dropouts, boosting economic empowerment and self-reliance.
